Clinics

I enjoy traveling to give clinics throughout the United States.  I am fluent in English and Spanish.

In addition to the traditional dressage clinic format, I am pleased to offer clinic formats that address specific interest areas, including:

  • The Ultimate Seat and Position Clinic (with Eileen Halloran)
  • Show Like A Pro

The Ultimate Seat and Position Clinic

presented together with Eileen Halloran

This clinic is offered in either one or two day formats, with eight one-hour sessions per day and a lunchtime lecture.

Each session features:
  • An individual action plan with specific tailored exercises
  • Individual unmounted posture alignment sessions
  • Mounted European-style longe work
  • Rider strengths and weaknesses assessment
We find these clinics extremely rewarding.  Participants have been effusive:
I feel transformed from this experience - both physically and psychologically.” – Deborah Bernard
"I was impressed with the immediate results for ALL riders in the clinic." - Deirdra Baldwin
The most amazing part of the clinic...was to see how the bodywork and following longe work showed real changes in the riders and horses.” – Karin

Show Like A Pro

A systematic approach to success at competitive dressage

This clinic goes far beyond a “ride-review-ride” format.  It offers a comprehensive approach to showing, covering:
  • How to prepare in the months, weeks, days, and moments prior to your test
  • Choosing a test to play to your strengths
  • Actionable strategies for improving accuracy
  • Mental preparation for success
  • Exactly how judges score tests at each level
  • The specific areas that you and your horse should address before your next test

Show Like A Pro has been well-received by participants at Sheriffmuir Farm and Puritan Hill Farm:
"This clinic gave me an assessment of where we are in our training - and the tools to take it to my next show fully prepared." - Kathy Schimmoler
"I got a much better understanding of how judges arrive at their scores." - Emily Tronsted
"There's training...and then there's showing.  Showing is a world unto itself.  This clinic gave a comprehensive look at how to succeed at it." - Ellen Zanino
